Hi! I’m Kasey, a Marin County–raised performer and recent graduate of Texas Christian University, where I earned my BFA in Musical Theatre. I caught the theatre bug early (after seeing my mom in a production of HAIR! at three… yes, truly), and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I’ve moved over 14 times in my life, and I’m excited for my next move as I dive into the professional world and plan to move to NYC in the fall. As a Mexican-American performer who stands 5 feet tall, I often play roles in the teens to early 20s range. I’m a versatile actress and vocalist with a soprano range, a strong belt, and an edgy pop-rock sound. I bring youthful, bold, flirtatious, and occasionally bratty energy to roles, but I can also embody the sweet, girl-next-door ingénue. Favorite credits include The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), Nine (Carla), Dracula (Lucy), and The Wolves (#14).
Whether performing realism, Shakespeare, musical theatre, or singing some good old-fashioned pop rock, I feel most alive onstage telling stories that feel honest and human. If you’re casting a Luisa in The Fantasticks, or searching for your next Lydia in Beetlejuice or Eurydice in Hadestown (emphasis on the latter!), let’s connect! When I’m not performing, you can find me creating social media content, reading poetry, crafting (usually with Sondheim in the background), learning a new phrase in ASL, or rewatching Game of Thrones (for the 8th time). I’m also very passionate about fair trade chocolate, so feel free to ask for recommendations. I’m so glad you stopped by…. stay awhile!
